RIDING THE NEW TECHNOSPACE
P2. Coworking/Learning Space
Project Description / Context
Students are asked to design a compact coworking/learning space in
Kalabak, Urla. The space will function as a mini research institute that is expected to spin-off start-up formations, research teams etc. As a pilot application backed by the higher education council (YÖK) the model is expected to be implemented in several locations as plug-in research hubs.
Project Brief Requirements
-This nature integrated futuristic health-secured Live&Work space will be open 7/24 and will accommodate some restricted residential needs of occupants.
-Spaces should be designed as people-friendly, flexible, joyful and promote maximum efficiency across the office landscape.
-Structural systems may be either Timber Construction, Additive Construction(3D printed) or Steel Construction
-Interaction with the Recreation Area (in P1 site) is encouraged.
-Due to the recent pandemic conditions and apparent new normal
suggestions of a new world order students are expected to take related concepts into consideration.
